Workplace harassment is a form of discrimination that is toxic to a company’s culture and may violate federal laws, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently published a list of best practices to prevent workplace harassment, and it’s an excellent starting piece for employers looking to create or maintain an effective anti-harassment program.
